Step 1

Use the canvas to practice drawing the kanji with the correct stroke order. Each kanji has a unique keyword which conveys its meaning. Use this keyword to create a story mnemonic to help you remember the kanji.

Step 2

A kanji may be made up of other groups of kanji called radicals. Break the kanji into smaller parts and use the keywords and stories from these parts to help you make a story mnemonic.

Step 3

Review kanji you've learned using spaced repetition. When shown a keyword, try to remember the correct kanji and respond with how easy it was for you to recall your answer.
